Which Scheduled Airlines are included in the cover?
The policy provides for all scheduled flights operated anywhere in the world provided:
- You book while within the United Kingdom
- You book either via a bonded travel agent
- You book directly with the scheduled airline

Can anyone buy Annual Scheduled Airline Failure Insurance?
Yes, provided you are resident in the United Kingdom otherwise cover will not operate

Do I need to declare information on the airlines I intend using?
No, but at the time of policy purchase you must not be aware of any circumstances which are likely to give rise to a claim for example, press comment on likely failure or insolvency

How much is insured?
Cover is provided up to £1,500 for each scheduled airline ticket purchased by the person named on the policy schedule

Is there a maximum limit on the insurance?
The policy provides for a maximum of £1,500 per scheduled airline ticket though there is no limit on the number of tickets you may purchase throughout the year of cover

When does cover commence?
You choose when you wish to incept the policy which runs for twelve months

Who underwrites the insurance?
The insurer is Great Lakes Reinsurance (UK) PLC a wholly owned subsidiary of the Munich Reinsurance Company. As such, they are an integral part of the Munich Re Group, supporting a gross premium income in excess of £1billion

Are there rules to making a claim?
Yes, you must notify your claim within 28 days of occurrence to Travel Insurance Claims Telephone: 0845 072 0724

Will I be reminded when my policy runs out?
Yes, you will be contacted in advance of your policy lapsing so you can renew your insurance with no loss of cover
